Gulf Coast ULSD spot settled at $3.296/gal on June 29, New York Harbor at $3.316/gal, per EIA's daily spot series. Both are untaxed bulk wholesale prices. The US pump's $1.372/gal premium over Gulf Coast spot covers fuel taxes and the full retail distribution layer, not a station's margin.
